Only pack the essentials

Well, camping. We’re heading off to the sunny delights of the Lake District for a few days, so no posts and no Edinburgh Beer Weekly this Sunday. Instead, we’ll be sitting in a rainy field drinking the highest-quality canned beer we can find. Oh, and hopefully visiting a couple of breweries, as well.

    You’ll not go short of good beer there I can assure you. I’m sure they are in your sights but Hawkshead beer hall is a must, plus Coniston & further down Hardknott etc

    Cheers Phil, we’re heading to Hawkshead on the way back – I read your post on their summer festival the other day, in preparation. Really looking forward to it
