We do a style show as the panel get to grips with four characteristic dark, malty lagers – two from the German motherland of the style, and two young upstarts from America. Since their beginnings in Thuringia and Saxony, Schwarzbiers have truly gone global. Discussing this and other dark malty matters are Richard, Shovels, MrB and the man with the idea for this show – Grooben. The panel also get to try a bonus fifth beer, as we were sent the very first preview samples of Stewart Brewing’s new Hefeweizen – so we end with a BeerCast World Exclusive…
