Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you’ll likely know how wildly popular the India Pale Ale is in the modern brewing scene. It’s almost certainly the flagship of the ‘craft’ beer movement, and one of the most-brewed styles on the planet. On Monday, Appellation Wines’ Dalry branch are hosting a tasting of some of these hop-forward beers, including varieties from Great Heck, Rogue and Cromarty, so head along and get with the programme!

The Edinburgh Beer Weekly will be published every Sunday here on the BeerCast. If you have an event in or around the city that you’d like to feature – please get in touch at the usual email address. Cheers!
