BeerCast #16 - Belgique a Londres
Seeing as we're rapidly approaching our 20th podcast, this time the BeerCast does something a bit different and hits the road. We head off to London for a recording, and visit regular panellist Andy and first-timer Elliot for a special edition. Bear with us for the sound quality - we were hunched around a microphone in Andy's flat - but the beers more than made up for it, as we sample four Belgian classics brought by Trappist fan Elliot.
Firstly we get our teeth into Chimay's Blanche (Trippel) at 8%abv, the second of the famed brewery's offerings to pass our way (we tried Chimay Rouge in BeerCast#5). Next we dice with death as we go for Mort Subite Gueuze (4.5%), before moving on to one of Brouwerij Huyghe's new(ish) favourites, Delerium Nocturnum (8.5%). Finally we wrap up our third Belgian BeerCast with Maredsous 10˚ (10%).
Thanks to Elliot and Andy, and as always you can email us at the address below or visit the website. We'll be back in a couple of weeks with a return to our Edinburgh HQ, and four beers from North Yorkshire...and the return to the podcast of the Hopmeister - who will he rant about this time??
